The Creative Minds Behind Deja Brew
The outstanding coffee shop located in the Northern Lebanon High School has been up and running for the past five years. The creative minds who managed to get this terrific shop in the school are Mrs. Bentz and Mrs. Albright. As a team, they managed to orchestrate a café and the team behind this. Past students of theirs took a vote, and came up with the name “Deja Brew”. Mrs. Bentz and Mrs. Albright work with the life skills class to run the very positive and formal work environment. This crew was able to get grants for brand new equipment for this beautiful café.
Convenient Location and Hours
Deja Brew is open from 7:15 until 7:30 in the morning, and is open during all three lunch periods. This café is located outside of the high school cafeteria, next to the auditorium. This location is convenient for both students and staff, as it does not create a lot of traffic in the halls.
Diverse Menu and Affordability
At Deja Brew, you can purchase items from a large variety of options. They sell coffees, hot chocolates, snacks, and even school merchandise. Most of the coffee and snacks cost around one dollar, while merchandise varies depending on the item.
Learning and Work Experience
With the life skills class working there, those students are given a chance to receive some work experience and work on different types of skills. The staff of Deja Brew receive no issues with other students or staff in the school, as everyone admires the hardworking staff and their beautifully crafted café. Those students who work with the café tend to work there for the majority of their high school experience to help them advance different skills that are used. Those students will also help with delivering coffee to teachers who order but do not have the time that day to go to the coffee shop in person.
A Marvelous Addition
In conclusion, Deja Brew is a marvelous thing, which should be in more schools worldwide. This coffee shop has such a positive effect on both students and staff, who both work there or buy there. The prices of items there are extraordinary, especially for the good quality of products. Along with prices being extraordinary, this beautiful café is very resourceful to both staff and students.
