Northern Lebanon Wrestling Team Takes Second Place at Lancaster Lebanon Championships
The Northern Lebanon wrestling team took second place at the Lancaster Lebanon league championships over the weekend, outpacing 22 other teams with a remarkable 18 pins in just 34:26. The team’s success was driven by several standout performances from individual wrestlers, including Aaron Seidel (So) who won all four of his matches with four pins and took first place in the championship.
Other notable placements included Owen Lehman (Sr) who took second place and Conor Leonard (Sr) and Sam Wolford (Fr) who both placed third. The team also saw strong showings from Hayden Adams (So) and Tanner Feagley (Jr) who both placed fourth, and Clayton Erb (Sr) who placed fifth.
This is the second time in the history of the Lancaster Lebanon league championships Aaron Seidel has won the championship, his first being as a freshman. The team’s overall success at the championships reflects the hard work and dedication of the Northern Lebanon wrestlers and their coach.
“We’re extremely proud of our team and all of the individual wrestlers who performed so well at the championships,” said a spokesperson for the Northern Lebanon wrestling program. “This was a great way to cap off a successful season and we’re looking forward to continued success in the future.”
With a strong showing at the Lancaster Lebanon league championships, the Northern Lebanon wrestling team has proven to be a force to be reckoned with on the mat.
