The autumn breeze brought a touch of magic to Levitz Park on the evening of October 6th as families and friends gathered for a memorable night of pumpkin carving and festivities. Hosted by East Hanover Township and games provided by Summit International School of Ministry in collaboration with NL Bulletin, the Pumpkin Carving Night was an enchanting affair that left everyone in awe.

Carve, Create, and Connect

From 5 pm to 9 pm, Levitz Park transformed into a pumpkin-carving wonderland, drawing people of all ages to participate in the seasonal celebration. As the sun began to set, the park came alive with the vibrant energy of the community.

The main attraction of the evening, of course, was the pumpkin carving itself. Tables adorned with pumpkins of all shapes and sizes awaited creative souls eager to transform gourds into stunning works of art. Families huddled together, friends shared laughs, and couples showcased their artistic talents under the starry sky.

Fun for All Ages

The event offered more than just pumpkin carving; it was a one-stop destination for wholesome fun. Summit International School of Ministry and NL Bulletin teamed up to provide a variety of engaging activities that catered to different interests.

Children’s faces lit up with joy as they lined up for the delightful face-painting station. Talented artists from the community adorned little cheeks with whimsical designs, turning each child into a walking masterpiece. Coloring pages allowed budding artists to unleash their creativity, and the joy was contagious as participants proudly displayed their colorful creations.

Sports enthusiasts were not left out either. A lively game of soccer and other outdoor activities organized by Summit International School of Ministry added an extra layer of excitement to the evening. The competitive spirit was palpable as friends and neighbors challenged each other in friendly matches.

A Smashing Hit

The turnout for the Pumpkin Carving Night exceeded all expectations, creating a warm and communal atmosphere that highlighted the spirit of Grantville. Families from near and far flocked to Levitz Park, and laughter filled the air as people celebrated the season together.

As the clock struck 9 pm, attendees left with their beautifully carved pumpkins, colorful face paintings, and hearts full of cherished memories. Levitz Park’s Pumpkin Carving Night was more than just an event; it was an unforgettable experience that brought the community closer together.

With such a resounding success this year, it’s safe to say that Grantville has found its new fall tradition. Be sure to mark your calendars for next year’s Pumpkin Carving Night at Levitz Park – an evening of creativity, community, and boundless fun that’s not to be missed!
