Linda’s Speedway Hosts Earman Fulk Memorial Race

Linda’s Speedway came alive on May 5th as racing enthusiasts from all over Central Pennsylvania came together to celebrate the Earman Fulk Memorial race. The annual event pays homage to the founder of the speedway, Earman Fulk, who brought the track to life decades ago.

The day was packed with exciting races, including the Central PA Legends, Double Down Challenge for the 600 Micro Sprints (Winged & Wingless), All Star & Junior Slingshots, and Chargers. The crowd was thrilled as drivers put their skills to the test, racing for the top spot in their respective categories.

This year, Kresgeville Auto & RV Repair added a bonus for the Earman Fulk Memorial race. The driver who set the fastest time in Legend Car Time Trials, as well as the driver who gained the most spots in the main event as the hard charger, would be awarded extra prize money. This added incentive created an even more intense atmosphere, with drivers pushing themselves to the limit in pursuit of the top prize.

Before the racing action, fans had the opportunity to meet Legend Car drivers Cory Phillips and Vincent Wenrich during the Meet & Greet event. The drivers showcased their cars, giving fans a chance to get up close and personal with the vehicles and the drivers themselves. This meet and greet was an excellent opportunity for fans to support local area race teams and see some of the best drivers in the region.

The Earman Fulk Memorial race is a testament to the love and respect the speedway community has for its founder. Fans and drivers alike cherish the opportunity to pay tribute to the man who made their passion for racing possible. The event brings together people from all walks of life to celebrate their love for racing and their respect for the speedway’s founder.

Jake

Jacob Keiter is a husband, a writer, a journalist, a musician, and a business owner. His journey to becoming a writer was one that was paved with challenges, but ultimately led him to find his true calling. Jacob's early years were marked by a strong desire for creative expression. He was always drawn to music, and in his youth, he played in several bands, chasing the elusive promise of fame and success. However, despite his best efforts, Jacob struggled to find the recognition he craved. It wasn't until he hit a low point in his life that Jacob discovered his love for writing. He turned to writing as a form of therapy during a particularly difficult time, and found that it not only helped him to cope with his struggles, but also allowed him to express himself in a way that he had never been able to before. Jacob's writing skills quickly caught the attention of others, and he soon found himself working as a journalist for The Sun out of Hummelstown. From there, he went on to contribute to a variety of publications, including the American Bee Journal and Referee Magazine. Jacob's writing style is reflective of traditional journalism, but he also infuses his work with a unique voice that sets him apart from others in his field. Despite his success as a writer, Jacob also owns another business, JJ Auto & Home, which specializes in cleaning. Jacob's commitment to excellence is evident in all of his endeavors, whether it be in his writing or in his business ventures. Today, Jacob is the author of two books and continues to inspire others through his writing. His journey to becoming a writer serves as a reminder that sometimes our darkest moments can lead us to our greatest achievements.
