On January 28th, the Lebanon Area Evangelical Church and the Central PA Blood Bank joined forces to host a community blood drive. The event ran from 8am to 1pm and saw 63 local residents come out to donate blood.
With the support of the community, 63 units of blood were collected, helping to replenish the low inventory levels of the Central PA Blood Bank. The organization urges more community members to help meet their blood supply needs and keep central PA safe.
Those interested in donating can call (717) 566-6161 or visit www.717giveblood.org to book an appointment. By coming together and giving back, the Lebanon Area continues to demonstrate its strong commitment to helping others.
