The Swatara Township Recreation Board is inviting residents to join in the annual end of summer event, taking place on August 26, 2023 from 4pm-8pm. The event will be held at the North Mill Street Park, located at 536 N Mill St, Jonestown, PA 17038. This community-focused event is an opportunity for residents to come together and enjoy a night of fun, games, and music.
The board is seeking volunteers to help with setup and tear down, and supplying and staffing activities and games. If you’re in a band, the board would love to have you play some music to provide exposure to the community.
Additionally, the board is searching for dessert vendors (ice cream, snow cones, and other cold desserts) to join the event. The Bunker Hill Fire Company will be making and selling food, providing a delicious and varied selection for guests to enjoy.
The board encourages all residents to attend the next meeting on March 6, 2023 at 7 pm in the Swatara Township building. This event is a great opportunity for community members to come together and make a positive impact.
