The Northern Lebanon Drama Club hosted a community event called “Under the Sea Fun with Ariel and Friends” on February 25th, and it was a big hit with families in attendance. From 10am to 12pm, the NL Auditorium Lobby was transformed into a sea-themed wonderland with decorations and sea creatures. The cast members were in full character, running the various game and activity stations, and engaging with the children in attendance.
The activities included Mersisters Tail Race, Pin the Teeth on the Shark, Flounders Fishing Hole, Flotsam and Jetsam Obstacle Course, Ariel’s Jewelry Making, and much more. All That Glitters provided face painting, which was hugely popular and had a constant line throughout the event. The cast also performed two sneak peek sessions of songs that will be featured in the upcoming performance. Baked goods with a beautiful sea theme were donated by cast members and their families. The event was an overall success, with money raised going towards future NL Drama Club productions.
